But when the kindness of God our Savior and His love for mankind
appeared, He saved us, not on the basis of deeds which we have done in
righteousness, but according to His mercy, by the washing of regeneration
and renewing by the Holy Spirit, whom He poured out upon us richly
through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that being justified by His grace we
would be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
Valentine’s Banquet

Our annual Valentines Banquet is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. this evening.
Plan to enjoy a delightful evening of delicious food and great
entertainment. Thanks to Mike and Lee Smith, Kitty Huff, Ashley Foster,
and Deedra Scherm for making tonight possible. Our teen girls will be
serving and the teen boys will be working with child care.
Ladies Birthday Luncheon
Ladies, please mark Friday, February 17, on your calendar. This month’s
Birthday Luncheon will be held at the Victorian Lady in Mabank at 11:30
a.m. Remember, if you’re celebrating a birthday this month, lunch is on us!
VBS Luncheon
On Sunday, February 26, we will hold a VBS Luncheon directly after
the Worship Service for all who are planning to serve in Vacation Bible
School. We are excited to share with you the purpose, theme, and
activities of this year’s VBS ministry. Please RSVP to the church office
(903-432-2175) if you plan to attend so that we can prepare the
appropriate amount of food.

Attention teens! Can you say “Spunko”? On Saturday, February 18, the
hit games of Spoons and Bunko will combine once again for a fun
evening of fellowship for CCBC teens. This event will be held at the
church from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. The cost is $5.00.
