In class, we have been discussing how the media impacts our
perception and values. We have discussed how media promotes
and/or reinforces stereotypes in society. We also discussed the
qualities of friendship and discussed the character relationships in
a film called “How to Train your Dragon. Using support from
material discussed in class and your own opinions, answer the
following essay question:
Discuss whether or not today’s media promotes positive
relationships, values and role models?
Using proper paragraph structure and organization, write an essay
(minimum three body paragraphs) expressing your opinion on this
topic. Complete the three tasks using the graphic organizers
(templates) provided. Each individual task will be evaluated and
will also help you to construct an accurate and well-organized
paper.
