Imagination Food Web and Essay
You must create a complex food web either terrestrial or aquatic and provide an essay to
explain the relationships involved in the food web.
Food Web Guidelines
Your food web must be an original drawing, include color, have a minimum of 10
organisms, and label the role of the organism in the food web (i.e. producer, primary
consumer, secondary consumer, tertiary consumer, decomposer, omnivore, herbivore,
and carnivore).
Essay Guidelines
The essay must explain the interactions of the organisms in your food web, be at least one
paragraph long and include the following vocabulary words: photosynthesis, ecosystem,
niche, energy flow, trophic level, food chain, producer, autotroph, heterotroph, primary
consumer, secondary consumer, tertiary consumer, decomposer, omnivore, herbivore,
carnivore, predator, and scavenger.
