History: The majority of my life has been spent in and around the church and many of my passions
developed as a direct result of the ministries that I was involved with. For twelve years I was involved
in a ministry called Royal Rangers, in which there was instilled in me a passion for missions and a love
of the outdoors. These passions steered me towards short term missions during my high school years.
I had the privilege of doing short term work in Mexico, Bahamas, Ukraine, and China. I grew the most
in the small groups that were a part of my church’s youth ministry, where I learned what it means to
have a relationship with God. In high school I also found myself involved with the Youth Performing
Arts Choir at my church, where I developed a love for singing. When I graduated from high school I
joined a missions/leadership training academy called TwentyFourSeven, a nine month intensive
program where I received Bible training, intense physical training (during which I developed a love for
running), and specific training for overseas missions work. After this nine month program, God called
me to Moody Bible Institute in Chicago. At Moody I studied Linguistics and Bible as a part of the
missions department and I was also able to further develop my passion for singing as a part of the
Moody Men’s Collegiate Choir. During my time at Moody, through choir tours, missions trips, and the
benefit of some wise professors, I was able to gain a better understanding of what the church as a whole
looks like both here in the United States and globally. What I saw and heard placed in my heart a
desire to Pastor, to teach the Word of God, and to be a servant to the body of Christ.
