ADVANCED PLACEMENT EXAMS (AP) GUIDELINES
UNDERGRADUATE—CHICAGO AND SPOKANE
Advanced Placement (AP) courses are usually offered in the 11th and 12th grades in high schools.
Students who choose to take AP exams and who score sufficiently can earn credit to satisfy part of MBI’s
general education requirements for the Bachelor of Arts degree.
Academic/test credits that exceed ten years from the date of completion are not applicable
toward current degree curricula.
Questions regarding AP should be directed to the Advanced Placement Program at 609-771-7300 or at
www.collegeboard.org/ap/.
What credit can I receive? The approved AP exams are listed below, along with the minimum score
required to receive credit at MBI.
How do I transfer AP credit? Students must request a copy of their AP scores to be sent by the
College Board to:
