They will come prepared, pose questions and acknowledge new information expressed by others. 7 SL 6 – TSW demonstrate the command of formal English. 7L 1 – TSW demonstrate the command of standard English grammar when writing and speaking. Objectives: Week Eight: The students will identify the characteristics of a Demonstration speech. They will choose a topic, begin writing and prepare for the delivery of their how-to speech. They will continue to analyze and evaluate one another’s speeches to increase their knowledge of effective communication.
