Create Web Page Procedure OVERVIEW: Request to create new web page(s) supporting the Division of Student Affairs. This will be completed through the use of OmniUpdate and will follow the web/editorial standards as established by the Office of University Communications. All requests will come through the appropriate marketing staff member, be reviewed, and approved by the Director of Marketing/Communication, with final approval from the Office of University Communications. PROCEDURE: 1. A Service Request will be submitted by the requesting department. 1.1. The Director of Marketing/Communication and appropriate marketing staff member will review the request and may request a meeting to clarify the request, discuss options, or offer alternatives. 1.2. The request, with any appropriate changes, will be submitted to the Office of University Communication for approval. 1.3. Any changes or revisions, to the submitted request, required by the Office of University Communication will be included in the request documentation. 1.4. If the request is denied by the Office of University Communication, options can be discussed to provide the intended content through existing page(s). 2. The assigned programmer will meet with Marketing/Communication to clarify the request, discuss options, and establish a completion date for the requested page(s). 3. Create the new Web page(s) per the request and documentation, following the established processes and Florida Atlantic University web/editorial standards. 4. Contact Marketing/Communication and the requestor and discuss results. Get documented verification that the new Web page(s) are correct. 5. Promote the new page(s) into production. 6. Log-in to Request system and make any necessary notes and then close out the request.
