Project Overview: study the optical properties of colloidal CdSe/ZnS and
InGaP/ZnS core/shell nanocrystals
Research Goals:

Investigate energy band gap as a function of temperature and
nanocrystal diameter

Measure the exciton peak and emission wavelengths for different
nanocrystal diameters using optical absorption and
photoluminescence techniques

Anneal nanocrystals to investigate their thermal stability
Social Security Agency – July through August 2004. June through August
2005. Responsible for ensuring that office files were added to the intranet to
ensure a smooth transition to a more paperless environment. Greeted visitors
and helped them resolve their questions and provided them with needed
materials and information, performed general office work including typing, filing,
answering phones and delivering mail.

