In attendance: Non members Will West, Ed Bond, Jackie Mitchell,Brian Mitchell,Liam Rendle. 2. Sue Portman (Chair) welcomed everyone to the third Southsea Greenhouse AGM. 3. The meeting began with a short film made at the opening of the Garden in 2013 by Will West. 4. Sue Portman introduced the members of the management team. Reported that Sue Stokes would be staying on in her role as founder but had resigned as fundraiser. Sue P called for someone to fill this role. The remainder of the Management team all stood for reelection in 2014 and this motion was carried unanimously by members. 5. Graham Newcombe (Finance) reported on our financial status. The meeting approved the accounts for fiscal 2013. It was further unanimously carried that we should continue with our non audited accounts policy as in previous years. 6. The proposal for an education centre was introduced and attendees were encouraged to contribute suggestions for future developments. 7. The PiB sub group reported that entries had exceeded expectations with entries up around 45% on last year. 8. Goff Gleadle gave a talk on how to grow summer salad items, followed by a tasting of gazpacho. 9. Ed Bond spoke about his experiences as a winner of the Big Allotment Challenge (BBC) We are delighted to welcome him as a judge for PiB along with Goff Gleadle and Nigel Huggins. 10. Sue P thanked our speakers, the meeting was closed at 8.30pm
