The book comprises knowledge on breeding technologies of the main predator fish species cultured in the European fish farms. The authors give a synthetic presentation of the issues, approaching both theoretical aspects and the practical ones, both being of high interest for all those that are involved in this field: aquaculturists, biologists, animal breeding scientists, veterinary medicines, silviculturists and all persons that love the nature. The paper has 496 pages and it includes besides the text itself, 316 figures, 10 color plates with 63 images, 67 tables and 226 Romanian and foreign bibliographic references. The authors have aimed to offer up as much as possible from the 30 years of activity in the field and to come with the latest knowledge related to the increasing demand of predator fish meat. The particularities of the aquatic environment, reproduction, fish behavior and not only could be discovered by all the readers.
