Water-based paints are used to coat the shelters to further minimise their environmental impact. Andy Robinson said: “Our clients are becoming increasingly concerned about where wood is sourced and how sustainable it is. Our FSC certification proves to them that we are a responsible company. To add to our environmental credentials, we are working with Zeta Controls, specialists in solar lighting, to build timber bus shelters for the Scottish Borders Council fitted with solar powered lights – a similar project to one we have completed recently for sheltering bus travellers in a number of Worcestershire villages.” - ends For further information on Littlethorpe of Leicester, please contact: Andy Robinson on 0116 284 9457 For further general information, please contact: Maggie Young or Katie Craegh-Barry at Ideas PR on 020 77381900 Email: maggie@ideaslondon.com katie@ideaslondon.com Notes to editors 1.
