Electrospinning is a very promising technique in formation
of nano-diameter polymeric fibers. This initiative is a
joined effort between industry, university and government
researchers to improve industrial design and development
processes. This is done via a concept called Knowledge in
Practice Documents. Under guidance by university and/or
industry experts, students will engage in the formation of
Knowledge in Practice Documents. It is expected that
student researchers interact with industry stakeholders,
engage in information gathering, and conduct theoretical
or experimental work to contribute to the creation of
Knowledge in Practice Documents. Since the projects aim
at generating ‘Knowledge in Practice Documents’ and
establishing strong ties with partners in industry and
academia, an excellent command of the English language
and well-developed communication skills are an important
requirement for this position.
