Raw Story Internship Program

Raw Story (http: //rawstory.com) is seeking paid journalism fellows and interns for the
2014-2015 academic year.
One of the fastest-growing, progressive news and politics sites in the U.S. (boasting 9
million readers and 32 million page views in August 2014), Raw Story is known for it’s
fearless investigative pieces and breaking news coverage.

Currently, we’re seeking journalism fellows and interns who, like us, have a sincere
passion for news, politics, civil rights and government accountability.
Successful applicants should be quick learners, organized and able to work efficiently
under fast-paced editorial deadlines. Fellows work closely with Raw Story’s editorial
staff copy-editing, researching and writing when the need arises. You won’t have to get
coffee or make copies, we promise.
Blogging, multimedia skills, and the ability to laugh out loud are big pluses. You must be
able to make a commitment of at least 25 hours a week over a three-month period.
College credit is sometimes available for fellowship/ internship positions.
