Freelance Translator
Presently, I am working as a freelance translator and my
responsibility is translating audiovisual texts, localizing websites and
also videogames produced on different platforms such as Playstation,
XBox 360, PC, Nintendo Wii and DS, iPhone, iPad and other mobile
devices.
In my work, I pay attention to the adopted style, the details and the
terminology used by the providers. I am very precise and accurate
while translating to avoid inconsistency, as different translators may
handle the projects.

My role was to proofread Italian translation by checking grammar,
syntax and spelling mistakes; it also included translating when
required and reporting language issues when occurred in the project.

During my work placement, I improved my skills of copywriting,

I did some medical and pharmaceutical translations of essays and
dissertations from English into Italian, which leaded to a publication.
After gaining experiences in researching and rendering subjectspecific technical terms, I did literary translations from Russian into
Italian, as well.
Worked as an interpreter from/into English and Italian for children in
camp-schools and for estate agents that rented and sold villas to
foreigners, in particular English native speakers. I achieved abilities
to work as a team and be a mediator between the agency and the
clients.
