Albany’s 37 th

Annual Tour of Historic Homes is scheduled for Saturday, July 26, 2014

11am to 5pm. This year’s tour features six historic homes, the United Presbyterian

Church, Downtown Carnegie Library, Albany Regional Museum, Monteith House

Museum, and the Historic Carousel & Museum. This is a self-guided tour and many of the homes and buildings are within walking distance of each other. Ticket price also includes trolley and horse-drawn wagon rides.

Visitors can tour the homes in any order they like. Homeowners and Hosts/Hostesses will be available to answer questions about restoration efforts, historic house maintenance and why they chose Albany as home.

Tickets available on the day of the tour beginning at 10 a.m. at the Albany Visitors

Association, 110 3 rd

Ave SE. and the Albany Regional Museum, 136 Lyon Street S.

Adults are $15, seniors & groups of 10 or more $1, Monteith House Museum Members

$10. Children 12 & younger are free with paid adult.

Historic downtown Albany’s restaurants and shops will be open for this event.

Monteith Historical Society which is charged with preserving and sharing Albany’s Monteith
