It is expected that you will have a high level of competency in obstetric ultrasound, including advanced fetoplacental Doppler assessments, such as uterine artery Doppler, middle cerebral artery Doppler, ductus venosus and aortic isthmus Doppler measurement as well as measures of cardiac function, such as myocardial performance index etc Maintain contemporaneous records and contribute to database entry for the longitudinal fetal growth study Attend research meetings and liaise with PhD students and their supervisors Attend Perinatal outpatient clinics and ultrasound sessions as rostered. Provide ultrasound teaching and advisory support to the Pregnancy Day Assessment Service as required The Research Fellow in Obstetric Ultrasound will gain valuable experience in the conduct of research and teaching. Have regular feedback about performance as outlined in their RANZCOG subspecialty training manual. Provide teaching and training of other medical (undergraduate and postgraduate), midwifery and ultrasound staff.
