Build Your Own Rock &/or Mineral Kit o Using the picture to the right as a guide, build a kit to display between 15 to 25 different rocks and minerals. The rocks & minerals should be in their natural form (unpolished). The kit must contain a key that describes the following: 1) What is the mineral or rock a. If a mineral give the name AND formula b. If a rock give the type AND the main minerals it contains 2) Where it was found 3) Your names and the date of completion 4) An acknowledgement or thank you to anyone else that helped you on the kit. o Present your kit to the class: 1. Choose 5 of your best representative samples and describe them to the class. 2.
