Functions and Competence
The University Secretary the functions that assigned to as Undersecretary that
stipulated in bylaws for employees in the university administration, monitoring the
administrative departments at the university administration, coordinating the work
between them as provided in bylaw of the University, and monitoring the
administrative and finance functions in the University according to decisions and
organizational rules, which issued by the university Council, the university
President and his Vices
The most important functions of the university Secretary
Subscribing with officials in setting the public policy for the University to achieve its
objectives and mission as well as putting this policy into practice
supervising on the financial and administrative affairs at the university level and
reviewing to ensure of work and procedures
Ensuring of applied the laws of the administrative work No. 47 to 1978 for civilian
workers system in the state , bylaws and laws that are modified some rules and laws
on insurance and pensions, laws, bylaws and publications, periodicals books.
Monitor the decisions issued by the University Council, the Council of Education affairs,
the Council of Postgraduate affairs, the Council of Environmental Affairs, and in
particular those related to the financial and administrative affairs at the university level.
Presidency of the financial and administrative committees, which related to set and
implement the fiscal policy and management at the university
Secretariat of the University Council and the specialized specific committees as well as
preparing for their work
Subscribing with officials in setting the public policy in all activities at the university, the
activities which following him, planning the projects and setting programs for
