The Associate Nurse Manger will act as a role model and practice within the core values of Mercy Health. Overall, Associate Nurse Manager will form an integral part of a multi-disciplinary team and will be required to provide highly responsive and flexible service to consumers and carers, while upholding a high level of professionalism. The Associate Nurse Manager will act as management support to the Nurse Manager. Associate Nurse Manger will Manage in conjunction with the Nurse Manger, to develop and support Special Care Nursery Staff both Managerially and Clinically. Qualifications & Requirements: Registration with the Victorian Nurses Board, Division1 and a current practising certificate Positions reporting to this one: Grad Dip/Cert. Reference evidence based literature including Neonatal handbook Patient care is planned in conjunction with the treating multidisciplinary team and clearly documented. Patient records demonstrate appropriate levels of assessment, treatment planning and consultation with family and relevant others. Documentation meets all ethical and legal requirements. Confidentiality of both written and electronic patient information is maintained. Liaises with support services to provide optimal patient care. Communicates openly with treating Paediatrician, notification of new admissions as soon as practicable. Demonstrates ability to communicate with families, carers and colleagues. Is responsible for being proficient in the use of electronic technology required for neonatal care.
