Parent Meeting Notes

2. Snow Day Emergency Rehearsals
In the event of a snow day, students may receive a onecall from one of the directors asking that if they can SAFELY
make it to the auditorium for a specific scene to try and be there. Students are not penalized if their roads are not safe
enough to travel on.
3. Parent Ticket Information
For parents who think they may attend EVERY performance during the run of the show, the parent ticket discount is
for you. For a limited time, we offer two “parent tickets” to every child in the show at a discounted price. With a total
of six shows, the price for one adult to attend every performance would normally be $48. With the “parent ticket,”
your price is $40. Starting today, this offer will extend through Feb. 13th. Make checks payable to ACHS with
ACT CATS in the memo line along with your child’s name. These tickets will be available for pick up at the ticket
booth window opening night. The parent tickets can be used by other family members as well. Order forms may be
picked up at the edge of the stage after the meeting.
4. Props
The following props are needed for the performance. If you have access to any of these items, please let us know!
Any OLD log furniture
Burlap sacks
Old suitcase
Old Milk bottles
Farm ropes
Barrel
Bear sculpture
1 Axe (dull blade…)
wagon wheel
Old flour bag
Triangle dinner bell
Animal Skins (larger the animal, the better)
Wooden baby cradle

5. Costumes – Will be ordered from New York. However, there are a few pieces all cast members need: GIRLS – nude
color pantyhose, black slipper-like shoes or black character shoes, make-up for performances, curly hair for performances,
and short shorts for underneath dresses. BOYS – brown belt, white undershirt (t-shirt) and possibly brown boots.
6. Sign up for Snacks during Performances – Parent Volunteer needed to manage this.
7. Rehearsal Calendars – Hang up in your house and ask your child about it daily!!!
8. T-Shirt Order Forms – Order forms are on the front of the stage. $18/ shirt. (Due Jan. 30th)
9. Remind 101 Text Messages – If you would like to receive the daily text sent out to students reminding them of
rehearsals, send a text message to the number: 81010 with the following message: @7bros
10. Facebook Page – If you “like” the facebook page, you will receive updates about rehearsal photos, videos, and cast
