MUS 360 Portfolio Worksheets
These worksheets provide an exercise to record the work you do in preparing to be a music
teacher. This is organized according to the Kentucky New Teacher Standards. You should enter
items regularly on the appropriate spaces. Remember that your entries should be specific and
reflect your work as a music educator. Describe each item as specifically as possible (e.g. Lesson
plans on recorder improvisation using GAB notes). Keep your samples (items such as lesson
plans, composition, etc.) separately in a safe place.
For each of the Kentucky New Teacher Standards,
A. List the items you have in your possession as evidence that you have met the Standard
B.
If the Standard is not met, describe what you plan to do prior to graduation.
This is a work-in-progress throughout the semester, but you must complete it by the first week of
December.
