Join the Walled Lake Western High School
Majorettes and the Marching Warriors to show
off your twirling skills on the field and sidelines
for the Western Warriors Varsity Football Game.
Open to skilled as well as new twirlers.
When:
Practice, Dinner & Performance

 3:55 p.m. Meet on the WLW Football Field
o Have your makeup on and hair in a bun
o Bring your costume or shorts/t for the game
 4-5 p.m. Practice with Majorettes and Band on the
field
 5-5:30 pm. Dinner with the Majorettes
 5:30-6:20 pm
Get ready for the game, change into
your costume & a final practice
 6:20 p.m.
Lineup for parade to field
 6:30 p.m.
March out to the field
 6:40 p.m.
Pre-Game performance
 7:00 p.m.
Sideline Twirling for the 1st half of
the game
On field with Miss Rhonda for
halftime
Dismissed to parents following
halftime (at about 8 p.m.)
Enjoy the Marching Warriors Perform “Earth, Wind & Fire”!
Be a high

don’t have to
be districted
to WLW to
participate &
no experience
needed &!! We
will teach how
to do it!!
Where:



Meet at gate to the WLW Stadium at 3:55 p.m. Miss Rhonda will be there waiting
for you. We will begin practicing with the band at 4 p.m. so be sure to be prompt.
Walled Lake Western is located at 600 Beck Road in Walled Lake.
Pickup for the evening will be IMMEDIATELY after halftime at the main entrance
gate.
What to Bring:
1. Your baton. If you can twirl multiple batons, please bring those for sideline
twirling. It you don’t have a baton, we’ll bring one for you! Email Miss Rhonda
at TwirlM@aol.com.
2. For the game, wear a costume of your choice with a sweat suit over it and then a
coat for the weather. We will wear the costume for the parade and pre-game and
then add our layers for sideline twirling depending on the weather. Don’t have a
costume?! No problem. Wear a Twirl-M’s t-shirt and shorts with tennis shoes.
It’s just fine!! But again, dress in layers, we want everyone to stay warm!!
Remember, bring your costume with you. We will change AFTER dinner. Have
it in a duffle bag when you come to the field at 3:55 p.m.
Cost:
$20, which includes instruction, ticket into the game, parade & pre-game
performances, as well as sideline twirling AND…Dinner with the Majorettes. Check
payable to the WLWBB.
**BONUS…2nd twirler from same family; cost is only
$5 for the ENTIRE NIGHT!!
