What:
Join the 2-time national and 3-time state champion Walled Lake Northern
High School Majorettes and the Marching Knights to show off your
twirling skills on the field and sidelines for the Northern Knights Varsity
Football Game. Open to skilled as well as new twirlers.

Where:


9/22 – Meet at gate to the WLN Stadium at 6:25 p.m. Miss Rhonda will be there
waiting for you. We will be practicing outside with the band. Pickup will be the
same place as drop off at 8 p.m.
9/24 – Meet in the Commons, which is the main entrance, at 5:00 p.m.
The school is located at 6000 Bogie Lake Road in Commerce Township.
Pickup for the 9/24 game will be at the north end zone gate following the halftime.
What to Bring:
1. Your baton. If you can twirl multiple batons, please bring those for sideline
twirling. It you don’t have a baton, we’ll bring one for you!
2. Wear warm clothing for practice. We will be outside under the lights with the
band. Have shorts on underneath in case we go inside to the gym. So, dress in
layers.
3. For the game, wear a costume of your choice with a sweat suit over it and then a
coat for the weather. We will wear the costume for the parade and pre-game and
then add our layers for sideline twirling depending on the weather. Don’t have a
costume?! No problem. Wear a t-shirt and shorts with tennis shoes. It’s just
fine!! But again, dress in layers, we want everyone to stay warm!!
Cost:
$20, which includes 2 hours of instruction, ticket into the game, parade &
pre-game performances, as well as sideline twirling AND NEW THIS YEAR…Dinner
with the Majorettes. Check payable to the WLN Music Boosters.

$5 for the ENTIRE NIGHT!!
