Strive APPLICATION FORM Strive is a training programme for 12 dance artists (West Midlands based artists will be prioritised) devised to support artists already, or wanting to, deliver dance activity for marginalised communities. (150 words) Dance Intervention Placements The second phase of your Strive training is a period of mentored dance intervention placements. These placements will give you an opportunity to put in to practice the skills and knowledge accumulated and explored during the intensive training periods, co-delivering in pairs (where possible) with one of the target groups either in their setting or at DanceXchange. Interventions placements can be delivered in a number of ways, ie one week placement, a weekly placement for 6 weeks etc, depending on the organisation and your availability. This will be discussed once you have started the programme.
