DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR APPLICATION FOR STUDIES AT A BULGARIAN
UNIVERSITY:
1.
Application Form for admission at the chosen university (VSU “Lyuben Karavelov”).
2.
A legalized copy of the Secondary School Leaving Certificate (Diploma) + Translation
of it in Bulgarian language.
This document should be certified by the Consular Section of the Bulgarian Embassy in the
respective country.
The signatures, seals and stamps appearing on this document (of the sworn translator, the Ministry
of Education, etc.) must be authentic.
3.
A legalized copy of the Supplement to the Secondary School Leaving Certificate
(Transcript of records) + Translation of it in Bulgarian language.
This document should be certified by the Consular Section of the Bulgarian Embassy in the
respective country.
The signatures, seals and stamps appearing on this document (of the sworn translator, the Ministry
of Education, etc.) must be authentic.
4.
A legalized Document, issued by a competent institution (the Secondary School or other),
which certifies that the Secondary school leaving certificate enables student to continue his/her
education at the higher schools / universities in the country in which the secondary education
is acquired + Translation of it in Bulgarian language.
This document should be certified by the Consular Section of the Bulgarian Embassy in the
respective country.
The signatures, seals and stamps appearing on this document (of the sworn translator, etc.) must be
authentic.
5.
A legalized Medical certificate + Translation of it in Bulgarian language.
This document should be certified by the Consular Section of the Bulgarian Embassy in the
respective country.
The signatures, seals and stamps appearing on this document (of the sworn translator, etc.) must be
authentic.
6.
A copy of the passport / Identity card with the personal details in Latin alphabet.
7.
A legalized copy of Certificate for English language – if the candidate has NOT been
studying in English throughout his/her schooling time or if he/she does NOT have English Subject
in his/her Higher Secondary School Certificate.
8.
For admission at VSU – A copy of the payment document for paid application fee in the
amount of 50 BGN, to the VSU’ bank account – this fee will be considered as deposit and will be
deducted from the tuition fee on the enrollment of the student at VSU.
