LOCAL SUPPLIERS SHOWCASE THEIR TALENT AT LOUGH ESKE CASTLE’S FOOD AND WINE FESTIVAL NOVEMBER 8th 2015 This November Lough Eske Castle, a Solís Hotel and Spa, is once again opening its doors wide for an evening full of variety and packed with flavour as it hosts Donegal’s finest food and drink suppliers at its annual Food and Wine Festival. Held in the magnificent 18th Century Castle setting, guests can enjoy a culinary journey through authentic Ireland. From a cooling sip of Donegal Blonde Beer to a fresh bite of local seafood, there will be something to tickle everyone’s taste buds. This year suppliers confirmed for the show include Kinnegar Brewery, La Rousse Foods and Albatross Seafood to name just a few. Showcasing their fresh products and culinary skills, all suppliers can be watched preparing and cooking their high quality ingredients. Guests of the hotel can sample all products right through from starters to dessert wines, the choice and variety on offer is unique for the region and is a one-off opportunity to experience all producers in one location. Whipping up a storm in the hotel’s own kitchen is Executive Chef Philipp Henkes, guests can watch him and the team produce visually spectacular and taste tingling courses for one night only.
