BROWARD COUNTY INTEGRATED WASTE MANAGEMENT
The safest way to dispose of hazardous home chemicals is to carefully pack them up and bring them to one of
Broward County's HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE (HHW) Collection Centers. The HHW program accepts
hazardous chemicals generated from Broward County residents FREE OF CHARGE and disposes or recycles
them according to all local, state and federal regulations. Each Saturday HHW drop-off centers are open to collect
waste that cannot be collected curbside.
Free Residential Drop-Off
We'll take: Oil-Based/Latex-Based Paints, Used Oil, Nickel-Cadmium/Lead-Acid Batteries, Used Tires, Paint
Thinners, Paint Strippers, Solvents, Pesticides, Insecticides, Fertilizers, Pool Chemicals, Oven and Drain Cleaners,
Spot Removers, Furniture Polish, Mercury, and Automotive Fluids.
