2. JOB PURPOSE
To maximise sales, whilst achieving minimum target margin requirements, across
Moy Park Brand and own label product ranges and potentially products from the
wider Marfrig group, initially to an allocated account base of major Foodservice
customers. To identify and explore new business opportunities both within and
outside of the existing customer base through new accounts and /or new routes to
market.
3. RESPONSIBILITIES
3.1 FINANCIAL
To achieve and exceed agreed budgetary sales and margin targets within the
allocated customer base and to exploit new business opportunities in line with
category and group targets.
3.2 STAFF
No direct reports, but will work with colleagues at all levels across functions,
divisions, categories and sites.

DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES
Achieve and exceed budgetary sales and margin targets in allocated Accounts and
across MP branded and own label product ranges
To monitor and control any negative environmental impact arising from the
processes within area of responsibility; ensuring that all direct reports and
colleagues are briefed and clear in regards to their responsibilities as outlined in
the Moy Park Group Risk Management System Manual.
Negotiate, monitor and manage pricing, turnover, margin, debt, range,

performance against forecast, service levels and marketing expenditure.
Develop a working knowledge of Moy Park Europe sites, personnel and product
ranges, i.e. ex Henin, Marquise, AVZ and Kitchen Range Foods
Agree sales forecasts with allocated accounts and implement internally.
Agree promotional calendar to maximise sales whilst retaining margin and with
consideration to factory capabilities and raw material availability.
Negotiate annual ORD and marketing agreements to maximise sales and minimise
expenditure.
Gain listings for new branded products and drive targeted bespoke NPD whilst
recognising volume and margin requirements.
Feedback to the business customer information on product trends, market trends,
product performance and competitor activity and make recommendations to
improve business performance.
Promote the image of Moy Park as experts in their fields and represent the
company at all times in a smart, professional and competent manner.
Represent the company at Trade shows, Exhibitions, Roadshows etc and
commercial and product presentations.
Comply with regular reporting procedures both externally and internally
Optimise the company’s cash position by managing stock to minimise aged stock
and write off, and monitor payment performance of all accounts to avoid bad debt.
Attend weekly team meetings and regular FS Sales Meetings
Support other members of sales team and other departments as required to achieve
their objectives and develop their own knowledge and expertise within
Foodservice sector.
Help identify new markets to reduce dependence on the traditional wholesale
distribution sector

6. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
