1. JOB INFORMATION

2. JOB PURPOSE
An excellent developmental role, for an ambitious graduate, to gain a range of experience,
knowledge and skills in Moy Park, through a series of clearly defined roles specifically focused
within the Engineering function. Typically, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to
extend their skill set across the full scope of Engineering over a 2 year period (changing
approximately every six months) being deployed throughout the function.
This is very much a hands on role with specific deliverables throughout the training period,
offering responsibility, accountability and challenge as well as career development.
3. RESPONSIBILITIES

Commercial awareness of actions.

During some placements the opportunity to manage teams may arise

Dependent on site and department during placements
4. DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
The Development programme will include:
 Specific role(s) and training in the associated job specific skills.
 Completion of nominated projects.
 Ensure pre agreed objectives are met on time.
 Complete the Moy Park toolkit of management courses.
 Operational Training E.g. Advanced Food Hygiene, HACCP etc.
 Build a working knowledge of the function area.
 Prepare for and attend meetings within the Engineering and Operations functions.
 Draw on any relevant college or previous work experience to deliver tangible benefit.
 Network within the wider business.
 Prepare for one to one meetings with placement manager and company mentor.
5. MEASURABLE OUTPUTS
These will be specific to the placement roles; will include one fully completed, presented project
per assignment.
 Build an awareness of the Function
 Embrace current systems in business and make suggestions for improvements
 Innovation – apply knowledge and assist in the development of the function
