I am a versatile vocalist covering musical genres from pop and rock
to musical theatre in my wide repertoire. My experience ranges from
performing with 5 piece bands, duos and tribute shows in hotels and
establishments both in the UK and abroad including the Middle East,
Europe and the Caribbean. Most recently I have produced several
solo cabarets including a Country themed show and others suitable
for a variety of venues from holiday parks to hotels. With over 10
years professional experience, I continue to perform a range to suit
all tastes.
2010
“Jodie Payne” Solo Cabaret Performances throughout the South West in Hotels
and Holiday Parks, Cruise Ferries and Clubs.
2009/2008
Host and Resident Cabaret for Shearings Holidays, Grand Atlantic Hotel,
W-S-M for 18 months.
2007
Princess Cruises. Residency as lead vocalist with 4 piece band on the Crown
Princess Ship.
2006
“ABBA Girls/ Girls Only” Tribute Shows. Toured Hotels in Spain with 4 girl
Tribute Show for the Summer Season as several characters including Kylie,
Abba’s Agnetha and Dusty Springfield.
2005
Madinat Jumeirah Hotel, Dubai. Lead vocalist with resident acoustic trio.
2004
Combe Haven Holiday Park. Performed lead vocals with 4 piece resident band.
2003
Grand Hyatt Hotel, Oman. Vocalist with 5 piece band resident in Hotel Bar,
Middle East. Followed by residency on Brittany Ferries Pont Aven Cruise Ferry.
2003/2002
Challaborough Bay Holiday Centre (Parkdean), Devon. Vocalist as part of
resident duo and team shows.
2003/2002
Martyn James & Co Comedy Illusionist. Performed as assistant illusionist with
Cabaret Show, touring Holiday Centres, Hotels and Private Functions, also
competing at and winning the Blackpool Magicians Convention 2003.
2001/2002
Nightflight Pro-Covers Band. Lead vocalist performing at events and hotels in
and around the South West.
2001
Brittany Ferries. Summer Season onboard the Val De Loire as lead vocalist with
resident 5 piece band.
2000
Torquay Haven Holiday Park. Lead vocals in resident 4 piece band.
2000/1999
“Chase” Duo. Performed as part of Cabaret Duo in and around South Wales in
Holiday parks, Pubs and Clubs alongside my University Education (Degree in
Theatre, Media and Visual Arts).
1998/1997
“Storm” Trio. Lead Vocalist as part of trio entertaining at Weddings, Parties,
Pubs and Clubs.
