COURSE DESCRIPTION
This course will concentrate on the history, culture, and theology of Islam
with specific application to Christian ministry among Muslims. Both obstacles
and opportunities for evangelism will be considered. Also, missiological
principles will be applied to the formulation of the Christian message to
Muslims.
REQUIREMENTS
Purchase The World of Islam CD-ROM which has the full text of 50 of the
best books, journal articles, and maps on Islam. [All the books in bold print in
the bibliography below are on this CD.] The first three books below are on the
CD and will need to be read in full for the quiz on May 24. The fourth book
(Reaching the Resistant) will also need to be read before class but will not be
covered in the first quiz. There will be other assignments from this CD.
