Dalhousie University Post-Doctoral Position in Dendritic Cell And Lymph Node Biology A postdoctoral position is available at Dalhousie University. The research area of our group is the interaction between dendritic cells and other cells of the immune system and the role of this interaction in immune responses to organ transplants and tumors. The candidate will have a PhD or MD/PhD in immunology, pathology or cell biology. Current projects in the group focus on dendritic cell-T cell interactions in the immune synapse, the role of neural molecules expressed by dendritic cells and the role of fibroblastic reticulum cells in immune responses. Previous experience in flow cytometry and confocal microscopy would be an asset. Dalhousie University is located in Halifax, Nova Scotia. The lab is located within the Department of Microbiology and Immunology which provides a supportive environment with several collaborative laboratories studying various aspects of the immune response.
