IFRRO VOTE STRUCTURE - PROPOSED AMENDMENTS
The AGM 2005 approved a new fee structure for Music RROs and Associate Members,
introducing payment of dues in proportion to what they collect for reprographic reproduction,
without changing the vote structure. The Musical Working Group raised the issue of increasing
the number of votes for those Music RROs and Associate Members that pay more than the basic
membership fee at the AGM 2005. The Board’s proposal put to the AGM 2006 is a response to
this. It suggests that Music RROs and Associate Members, tiers 4 and 5 shall be granted 1
additional votes, whereas tier 6 shall be granted 2 and tier 7 3 additional votes as set out in the
following matrice:

MODIFICATION OF THE STATUTES
The proposed changes of the structure of the votes make it necessary to modify Article 9.1 of the
IFRRO Statutes as follows:
Article 9: Voting during the General Meeting
§1. The number of votes is proportional to the level of the annual membership fees. The rates of
annual fees are set according to the guidelines attached to these Statutes.
§2. ASSOCIATE members paying the base rate of the annual membership fees have one vote
each.
THE BOARD’S RECOMMENDATION
The AGM approves the new structure of votes for Music RROs and Associate Members and the
changes in Article 9 §§ 1 and 2 of the IFRRO Statutes as set out above in this document.
