Crystal Growth Scientist CapeSym is seeking a person to join a research and development effort growing novel bulk semiconductors and scintillators. Responsibilities include experiment design, reactor design, process development and data analysis. A successful candidate will have experience with vacuum systems, wet chemistry, cleanroom environments, and control systems. The ability to seal quartz ampoules is highly desirable. An understanding of the properties of radiation detector materials is a plus.
