What do I need to do?
Read through my piece of work, check all capital letters and alter
any which are incorrect. Remember capitals for the start of a
sentence, names of people and places and the pronoun, “I”.
Read through my piece of work, check all punctuation marks and
alter any which are incorrect or add in any which are missing. Use a
VCOP pyramid to remind me of the punctuation I should be using.
Underneath my piece of work, write out the correct spellings for
those which I had written incorrectly. Use a dictionary to check if I
am not sure. Chunk up the word if that helps.
Remember TiPToPS for paragraphing. I need a change of paragraph
for every change of time, place, topic, person or speaker. Add in all
the changes of paragraph in my piece of writing.
