Tomlinson Science Graduate Teaching Fellows
TPULSE will be recruiting ~3 new students to join us in January 2007.
The Teaching Fellows are a dynamic group of science graduate students interested in teaching and
science education. The Fellows teach a 2 day teaching skills workshop for graduate students in the
Faculty of Science.
Fellows are paid at the standard TA rate (~$20/hour) and typically invest about 40 hours per term in
the project. Generally workshops will be offered twice a year, and in the interest of building a
sustainable program, priority will be given to candidates willing to make a commitment for a period of
more than one academic year.
This is an exceptional opportunity to develop your teaching skills and an introduction to science
education literature. Participation should benefit/assist science graduate students considering careers in
academia.
