The proctor must be a clergyman, teacher, professor, or administrator in a nearby secondary school, college, university, library, or testing center. Proctors cannot be family members, friends, or co-workers. For assistance finding a proctor, you can contact a guidance counselor or an academic advisor. The Consortium of College Testing Centers (http://www.ncta-testing.org/cctc/) is an organization that has testing centers across the country and abroad that provide proctoring services to distance students near their homes. Any fees incurred are your responsibility. You must send the proposed proctor’s name, title, phone number and email address to your Wentworth course professors via email no later than 14 days prior to the first scheduled exam. Your course professor may contact your proposed proctor and final approval of your proposed proctor is at the sole discretion of your course professor. All proctoring arrangements will be approved by us at least 7 days prior to the date of the first scheduled exam. You will need to provide photo identification to your proctor when you arrive at each exam whether taken away or at Wentworth. Your proctor will sign off on a form for each exam indicating the type of identification presented. You must attach this form to each exam. An exam without this form will not be graded. Q. How will I learn? A. For each section, you will watch a 35-90 minute video made by the course instructors. The videos are each subdivided into topics and can be watched straight through, or in smaller parts. All topics in each video are listed at the beginning of the video, and the videos are set up so that you can skip to topics using the DVD controls. The homework will also be assigned by section. Q. What if I have questions about the material? A. Course instructors will hold regular online office hours if you have questions. You will be able to “see” your course instructor via webcam chat. You are required to attend office hours at least once each week for an attendance grade. Course instructors may be available in person on campus if you are local. Q.
