Echo support for Cath Lab Interventions and Structural Heart Disease Program,

Expanded the Cardiac MRI Program, 2006-Present. There were less than 50 Cardiac MRI’s
performed before I got involved with the Cardiac MRI program and now there are about
600 performed per year. I accomplished this by lecturing both the faculty and trainees,
and by providing a superb service for our patients and the referring physicians. This is
an important service for our patients and for our Cardiology Fellowship Training and
Research Programs.
I wrote the Emory University policy regarding performing MRI’s (MRI of any body part) in
patients with pacemakers and defibrillators.
