Course Objectives: Upon completion of this course the participants should be able to: Explain the role of echocardiography in the identification and management of patients with dyspnea, risk stratification of patients with left ventricular diastolic dysfunction, pulmonary hypertension and cardiac hemodynamics. Describe the role of cardiac imaging in the correct identification of patients with hypertrophy that might be suggestive of infiltrative disorders, myocarditis, and myocardial viability.
