COURSE LENGTH: 11 weeks CREDIT HOURS: 7 quarter credits PREREQUISITES: None COURSE DESCRIPTION: A course designed to train people to troubleshoot irrigation system problems, with an emphasis on center pivots. Mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems will be analyzed. COURSE OBJECTIVES: Upon completion of this course, you will be able to: Office Cell Fax A. Apply some general repair and maintenance of irrigation equipment D. Organize data collected through experimentation in report form E. Analyze agricultural sprinkler systems F. Class attendance: Attend each class on time! You are considered absent once role is taken. No more than two (1) unexcused absence is acceptable. Excused absences are ones cleared with me PRIOR to class. If you are unable to attend class for any reason, please call me before class at: Office: 527-4250 Cell: 520-1023 20 points will be deducted for every absence after one (1) Each student with one (1) or less absence earns a 30 point bonus Attendance will be 200 points of the course grade 2. Assignments: All assignments are to be turned in before class on the day due. Late assignments are accepted with a 20% penalty per class day.
