Objectives : To advance the mission of Salem State University School of Nursing
and the University of Massachusetts by completing my dissertation and effectively
communicating my research through presentations, publications,
membership in professional organizations, and collaboration with
higher education faculty. To promote faculty vitality. To increase opportunities
for student success as undergraduates and graduates of the university. To enhance
the quality of working conditions that support and value higher education
faculty regionally and nationally so they in turn will promote social justice
and student access to education and student retention. To promote professional
development for faculty. To reduce the stigma of mental illness.
