GENERAL EXPECTATIONS FOR HONORS COURSES 2014-2015
Honors classes offer an accelerated curriculum and require extensive commitment. Following is a contract stating each student’s responsibilities in an Honors class. Student and Parent signatures indicate agreement and support of all conditions, including the requirements as stated below and of the course expectations in the
2014-2015 Honors Course Expectations packet. Each teacher of an Honors class will provide an outline with the specific additional conditions, requirements, and expectations of the course in which the student is enrolled.
Any summer assignments will be available on the Tustin High School website after June 15.
HONORS CONTRACT

Spend the necessary amount of time, in class and outside of class, required for each Honors class assignment, including reading, homework, reports, exam review, and group study time.
Attend any extended or mandatory review sessions/activities held by Honors teachers.
Attend class regularly and participate in all learning experiences, including field trips, speakers, and special projects, if applicable.

Meet the additional and specific course expectations developed for the Tustin Unified School District by teachers in the appropriate academic departments within District parameters.
5.
Score Proficient or Advanced in the appropriate subject matter.
