cc/day pupils information for current pupils June 2014 DAY PUPILS' TRAVEL Please find below information about bus routes we currently operate for our day pupils. Routes and times listed are for this academic year (2013/2014) and may change following the review of day pupils’ travel in the summer holiday; costs indicated are for a daily return and may be subject to an increase for the next academic year. If you would like your child to use one of the school buses for the next academic year, please complete and return the travel request form by July 4th 2014 at the latest. It is imperative you return your form if you need school transport for the next academic year, even if you used one of our buses last year. If you do not return a completed travel request form we will assume you do not require school transport and your child’s seat may be allocated to another pupil. Routes may alter in order to accommodate pupils’ needs provided that new stops do not impact adversely with established routes and are safe for coach/minibus use. If you would like us to consider introducing a new stop please make a note on the Travel Request Form giving full details. We use a mixture of coach hire and our own minibuses. Pupils in Year 4 and below may only travel on coaches if accompanied by an older sibling. Pupils in Year 3 and above may travel unaccompanied on the minibus routes. Younger pupils may be able to travel on minibuses if accompanied by an older sibling in certain circumstances … we recommend that you seek clarification. We will notify you of your child’s seat allocation, route and costs by letter shortly before the start of the autumn term. Travel costs will be added to your account on a termly basis in arrears. If you need to change your child’s travel arrangements during the academic year please contact me. Please note that deductions are not made for days of absence.
