[ ] Travelers from out of state; you will need a brand inspection certificate to come and go from North
Dakota with your horse/donkey.
Check to see how long it is good for also. You will need one to leave ND.
[ ] Check to see how long your coggins test is good for. If it expires during breeding you are responsible for acquiring
a new one.
Cog gins test needs to be current to leave North Dakota.
For those of you AI-ing your mare where you are at you don’t need to do this section unless Stallion Station or Vet requires it.
Make pre – arrangements with them to insure success.
On-site breeders. Bring originals or a easy to read copy. Can mail prior to your arrival but count on it taking 7-10 days to get here.
[ ] Current cog gins test: with-in
{This is a test for Equine Infectious Anemia.}
3 months (90 days) of breeding for North Dakotan horses.
1 month (30 days) of breeding for Out of state
horses.
Absolutely, No on-site breeding with out a current cog gins test, showing results of Negative, in hand or on file with us !
(People from MT or passing through MT: MT requires a Brand inspection, Cog gins test & Health Certificate
to enter and again to leave MT. Plus a permit to pass through each county. It’s only good for three days.)
Cog gins test takes 24 hours to find out the results at the lab, plus time for the results to get to your vet, & mailing time to you.
[ ] We copy Health Certificate for out of state mares. Dated within 30 days of breeding. And those available for in state mares.
Health certificates are only good for 30 days when traveling.
[ ] Provide a copy of vaccination record.
[ ] Send Copy of mare(s) registration front & back.
[ ] Provided good colored Photo of each mare to be breed with registration. Photo will be returned if needed.
We hand breed outside mares.
Mares must be halter broke for hand breeding.
If a mare does a lot of kicking on the day she is being bred and doesn’t settle down to except breeding; she won’t be bred that day.

For those of you AI-ing your mares in your area AI costs must be paid in full. Unused shipping will be refunded.
We reserve the right to refuse to breed to any mare which appears to be unsound!

4. has abnormal vaginal discharge or a bad vaginal smell.

For a Guaranteed Live Foal:
1. Need a veterinarian to certify in writing, the mare is safe in foal for AI.
2. On-site breeding must rebreed within 10 months if mare didn’t conceive.
3. If foals dies before standing and nursing. Need a veterinarian’s death certificate for foal.
