Unless required by the stud supplying the semen mares for AI to outside stallions do not need to be swabbed. It is
recommended that all mares (except mares on foaling heat with a live foal at foot) should have a negative EVA
blood test. Any mares arriving from abroad with or without a foal at foot or which has been imported within 12
months prior to arriving at the stud must have a negative EVA result before they arrive.
FEES
A.I. using outside stallions :- £25 per cycle, this includes a fee for liaising with the relevant stud & all paperwork
for the insemination.
Veterinary work is carried out by Equine Reproductive Services Ltd. A veterinary scheme is available with
discounts for early payment. Details available on request.
