- Ashes also sprinkled over body

Feature Description:
- Central burial
- Grave was excavated into partially built mound about 3 feet deep to close to the
mound floor
- Oak bark lined the bottom and sides of the grave, extending onto the upper mound
surface
- Flat stones (limestones and shale) were placed around edges of the bottom of the
grave
- A double row of logs was placed on top of the stones, forming a square “pen” 12
feet by 12 feet
- Body was covered with fine layer of ash

- Sides of grave lined with bark
