Friday 12th December 2014
Christmas Disco
The Christmas Disco takes place on Friday 12th December
Doors open at 6.30pm and the disco finishes at 8pm.
Tickets cost £4 each and included in the price are unlimited drinks, a snack &
glow in the dark item i.e. glasses, headbands & bracelets.
Sweets & Glow sticks will be on sale during the evening.
If you wish to buy a disco ticket please complete and return the slip at the
bottom of the letter. Please return the slip no later than Wednesday 10th
December. Please pay by cheque only, payable to Friends of the Ridge.
Please keep any disco ticket requests separate from raffle ticket money.
PLEASE NOTE WE WILL NOT ACCEPT TICKET REQUESTS AFTER
WEDNESDAY 10TH DECEMBER BECAUSE WE ARE UNABLE TO PROCESS
THE REQUEST. THERE WILL BE NO EXCEPTIONS.
Please can we ask that mobile phones are not brought to this event.
Please note that this is usually a popular event and due to Fire Regulations the
school can strictly only accommodate 130 children with no exceptions. So please
reply early to avoid disappointment.
End of Disco arrangements
At the end of the disco children will be dismissed a class at a time.
Parents/carers should enter the school via the main door when their child’s
class is called. You and your child should then leave through the canteen door.
In this way we hope to avoid congestion and ‘lost’ children.

Help at the Disco
If you are able to help out for some (or all) of the disco please complete the
section on the form below. We do need adult helpers to enable this event to go
ahead. Many thanks.

CAROL CONCERT – WEDNESDAY 17TH DECEMBER
9.15 to 10.10am
10.15 to 11.10am
Friends of School will be serving tea, coffee squash and cakes at the Christmas
Carol Concert.
We need donations for cakes for this event. If you are able to contribute
please send any cakes into school on the morning of Wednesday 17th December.
The raffle will be drawn at this event.
Tea towels will be on sale.
Many thanks.
Friday 19th December Class 7 cake sale.
Please bring your cakes in on the morning of the sale (or before 3.15),
FOS next meeting Tuesday 26th November 3.30pm – Crèche will be available,
new parents welcome.
CHRISTMAS RAFFLE
Prizes will include a luxury hamper, Family skating tickets for the Mall (inc 2
adults & 2 children), £10 Hobbs gift voucher, a bottle of Prosecco, wine, party
pack of ale, & many more.
Please cut out, fill in and return to the school with payment in an envelope
marked “Christmas Raffle Tickets”. Please keep any raffle tickets and money
separate from Christmas Disco money.
Should you need extra Raffle draw tickets please visit the School Office to
pick some up.
