FARINGTON MOSS ST. PAUL’S C. E. PRIMARY SCHOOL Tel: 01772 336166 8 February 2016 Dear Parents/Carers, Charity events Several charity pop-up shops will run on Monday and Tuesday next week for Debora. Items will range from 20p for cakes to small craft items of 20p, 50p or £1. It is lovely that our children continue to think of others. We were pleased to hear from Mr. Horne this week that Debora is a ‘model pupil’ and that she is so enthusiastic to learn. She is learning English which will give her the opportunity to take National exams in the future and to continue her education. Mr. Horne’s work at the East Meru School is truly inspirational and the children listened attentively to his news. Railway Bridge Opening Year 6 pupils will attend a brief ceremony on Monday, 8th December at 12.00 noon to open the new railway bridge. The Mayor and Mayoress will be in attendance along with Parish Councillors, employees of Network rail and Murphy’s. The children will walk down to the event and school will be presented with a gift of ICT equipment donated by the rail team organiser from Murphy’s. Theatre Performance On Wednesday, 10th December the children will watch a visiting theatre performance of ‘The Snow Queen.’ There is no cost for this enrichment activity as it will be paid for by school funds.
