Job Summary
Schedules, trains, and supervises Direct Care Professionals in assigned Shared Family
Home(s). Shares weekend on call cover with other Residential Supervisors as assigned.
Monitors participant plans of care for assigned Shared Family Home(s). Responsible for
correct accounting and expenditure of participant and petty cash funds. Responsible to
assure cleanliness and maintenance of the assigned Shared Family Home(s) to assure a
healthy and safe environment. Reviews and approves Medicaid Waiver Documentation
on Therap.
Job Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent. Prefer college coursework in human services or related field.
Combination of four years experience in supervisory position and in developmental disabilities field.
Ability to work flexible hours.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Basic computer skills.
Demonstrates ability to organize and complete multiple tasks within limited time.
Valid Wyoming Driver’s License and insurable.

Provides direct supervision of Direct Care Professionals in
assigned Shared Family Home.
Schedules staff to work in assigned home and
schedules relief coverage in cooperation with
other Residential Supervisors.
Conducts staff and participant home meetings monthly.
Provides on-call coverage for assigned home.
May provide direct staff coverage as needed and as assigned.
May assigns specific work tasks to Direct Care Professionals.
Assists Manager with staff performance evaluations,
and deals with immediate performance issues as needed.
Keeps Manager informed of all program, staff performance,
maintenance, and other issues as related to assigned home
on a timely basis.
Work as a team player with other supervisors, coordinators,
and managers.

Essential Functions

Assurance
A. Assures that current plans of care and all needed materials are
available in assigned home and that Direct Care Professionals
are trained on all plans.
B. Checks Therap to review reports and communication daily, assuring
that staff and participant schedules are current and issues are
addressed in a timely manner.
C. Completes quality assurance of all waiver documentation.
Assures documentation is submitted in a timely manner as assigned.
D. Assures that housekeeping, maintenance, safety and cleanliness
standards are addressed and that Work Orders are completed and
submitted as needed and in a timely manner.
E. Oversees grocery shopping and menu planning for assigned home.
F. Assures that Direct Care Professionals are complete and current
on all required staff training.
G. Conducts monthly Self Inspections of Shared Family Homes.
H. Conducts vehicle inspections as assigned.
I. Assures that emergency drills are completed on each shift,
at least annually.
J. Assures that all forms, documents and information are
current and complete.
K. Assures the proper storage of supplies and the sanitary preparation
and storage of food.
L. Assures that proper first aid equipment and supplies and proper personal
protective equipment are available to staff working in the home.
M. Assures that participant rights and confidentiality are protected at all times.
N. Responsible for correct handling of participant money. Collects and
organizes receipts, fills out Client Check Requests,
assists participants in handling their accounts.
O. Responsible for proper handling and accounting of
petty cash in assigned home.
P. Maintains an inventory of items owned by individuals living in the home.
Q. Assures that medications maintained in the home are secure
and monitors accurate recording of medication assistance.
R. Serves on various MCE committees as assigned.
S. Assures that all forms, documents, and information are current and complete.
T. Assures that health and safety rules, MCE performance
standards and MCE policy and procedures are followed at all times.
U. Assists in the assurance that all that res hab program areas are in
compliance and conformance with DDD rules and CARF standards
