Position Description: Work in a small team of fellow Events Coordinators to develop ideas for events, plan and execute them. Responsibilities include, but not limited to, contacting speakers for events, writing itemized budgets and defending them before the Student Government Funding Committee, putting up posters and sending emails to advertise events, reserving venues for the events, and coordinating collaborations with other organizations within and outside the university. Events Coordinators must negotiate with fellow Events Coordinators to determine the division of labor for each event.
